Tonebender MkII/Mk1.5 – OC75

A Tonebender MkII/Mk1.5 with a switch to select either circuit. Built on tagboard with OC75 transistors, BC electros, axail and tropical fish caps and metal film resistors. There is an additional Bias control and a toggle switch to turn the battery on/off. Finished in a gold hammerite with white LED.
For Phairat in France.

Tonebender MkII/1.5 – OC75

Tonebender MkII/1.5 switchable, built on tagboard with OC75 germanium transistors, axial caps and Philips electros and a battery on/off switch. Finished in a copper vein powdercoat with orange LED.
For Jeremiah in the U.S.

Tonebender MkII/Mk1.5 dual

A Tonebender with a switch that selects either the MkII or Mk1.5 circuit. Built on tagboard with OC75 germanium transistors, MKT axial caps, BC electros, metal film resistors and shielded cable on the in/out paths. Powered by 9v battery only and finished in blue hammerite with ‘elephant’ knobs.
For Rikky in the U.K.

Tonebender MkI

A Tonebender MkI clone built on tagboard with mixed germaniums (MP39B, AC125 & AC128). As well as the usual Level and Attack knobs there’s also a Bias control and it’s powered by battery only. Finished in a dark gold hammerite with elephant-style knobs.
For Steve in the U.K.

Tonebender MkIII – 2N404

A Tone Bender MkIII clone with 2N404 germanium transistors. Built with metal film resistors, Philips electros, axial MKT caps, an orange LED and blue hammerite finish.

Tonebender MkI

A Tonebender MkI clone built on tagboard with mixed germaniums (MP39B, AC125 & AC128). As well as the usual Level and Attack knobs there’s also a Bias control. Finished in a silver vein powdercoat with dark brown knobs.
For Marty in Georgia, U.S.

Another MKI with the same transistors, this time on veroboard with a DC jack and yellow LED.

Tonebender Mk1.5 – OC75

A Tonebender Mk1.5 clone with the stock OC75 germanium transistors. Built on vero in a very heavy duty enclosure, it uses metal film resistors, BC electros and a Tropical Fish output capacitor. As well as the usual Attack and Level knobs there’s an extra Bias control added, with a clear/orange LED and silver hammerite finish.

Tonebender Mk1.5 – OC75

A Tonebender Mk1.5 clone using OC75 germanium transistors. Knobs control Level, Attack and Bias. Built on tagboard using carbon composition resistors, tropical fish cap, BC electros, Alpha pots and Neutrik jacks, black metal knobs and a gold hammertone finish.
For David (Crush The Button) in Belgium.

Tonebender MkII – AC125 with voltage converter.

A Tone Bender MkII clone using AC125 transistors. Built on veroboard it uses Wima and Panasonic caps, BC electros, Alpha pots and Switchcraft jacks. As well as the usual Level and Attack controls, the middle knob adjusts Bias. There’s also a voltage converter added so the power supply can be daisy-chained with other negative ground effects.
